Abstract
The authors present, from diverse exercises of social, political and cultural research, from the experience of daily life and the voice of the protagonists of the processes, experiences and trajectories of school socialization, contributions to the understanding of the reality of children and young people and of the school in order to install an alternative, situated and singular reflection on the construction of subjectivity of children and young people from the different spaces of agency in which they are produced. The eleven papers that make up the book present themes, problems and debates that contribute to the updating of the field of school and educational systems, questioning the place of the school as a privileged space for the emergence of new subjectivities and, from this, the central objective of the book has to do with the analysis of the beliefs, imaginaries and practices of the agents and recipients of the educational system and their capacity for agency.
