Abstract
This article describes the way in which the Salesian Community´s geoportal was developed to demonstrate their work in Ecuador. It was developed with the collaboration from students who completed their final undergraduate work. To develop this, we combined two methodologies known as the Cathedral and Bazaar, finding a way to work with both to achieve the objectives, as well as the results obtained for the benefit of the chair and the use of a software development methodology applied to the university environment.
