Abstract

Rights of nature and territory in Ecuador. Dialogues from knowledge, legal and anthropological tasks is the result of several years of work and arises within the framework of a conversation held in 2021, in collaboration with the Max Plank Institute of Social Anthropology, the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany), the Salesian Polytechnic University and the Institute of Higher National Studies (IAEN). The research shows technical-formal studies on jurisprudence related to the rights of Nature and indigenous justice. Furthermore, it combines anthropological, sociological and intercultural perspectives of the peoples and nationalities of Ecuador in their relationship with Pacha Mama, both when demanding and enforcing law. His sense of sensitivity and approach to the worldviews and worldexperiences of peoples when theorizing the rights of Nature stands out.
