Abstract
This work presents some experiences, at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Los Andes (Venezuela), in which the active didactic strategy called RAIS (Reproduction of the Innovation Environment in the Classroom), focused on integral management of knowledge, was implemented to create, do, innovate and produce, through the development of products. The strategy arises from the imperative needs to transform the university education and adapt to the sustainable development. This strategy incorporates elements that allow raise the motivational level, improve academic performance, stimulate entrepreneurship and creativity, as well as strengthen the training of ethical, responsible and effective professionals for their performance in the context of the age of knowledge and complexity in favor of social equity.
