Abstract
Representation of Latin American women in commercial cinema, not only responds to the need to point out how female representation is constructed in Hollywood, but also to become aware that such representations influence the view of Hispanic women within Anglo-Saxon society and even within their own society. The main objective lies in the analysis and identification of such roles and stereotypes, as well as to see what parameters promote the change of such roles in women within their society and the construction of the stereotyped image in commercial cinema. Unquestionably deriving in the use of the image of the Latin woman as a sexual and sensual object.
