Abstract
The study explores the relationship between five dimensions of organizational learning capacity (OLC) and strategic orientation styles (SO) in MSMEs. Five contrasted hypotheses were tested by means of a nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis test in a sample of 162 MSMEs in Costa Rica. The results show that EAC dimensions have higher ratings in MSMEs with an exploratory orientation, differing significantly from those with a defensive orientation, and that there are no significant differences in the ratings of dimensions in analyzing MSMEs with respect to those focused on an exploratory and defensive SO.
