Abstract
Since the emergence of digitalization, sports have modified their ways of transmitting, narrating and reporting the events generated in these media spaces, implying the opening of new consumer markets. In fact, Hutchins et al. (2019) state that DAZN, a live sports streaming service located in England, invested almost 700 million dollars for the rights to Italian Serie A matches, Tencent of China paid 500 million dollars for the coverage and transmission rights of exclusive NBA content for five years, while Amazon paid 50 million dollars for non-exclusive digital rights for NFL rights.
