Abstract
In the context of the “liquid lives” typical of the contemporary world and with the conjuncture of social isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic in between, the fourteen articles gathered in this volume seek to reflect on the meaning of life, from theological perspectives , philosophical, artistic or pedagogical, but always having the community as a horizon of arrival. From the encyclical of Pope Francisco Fratelli Tutti and the pedagogy of love in Don Bosco, to the humanism of José Martí and Foucault's Epimeleia Heautou, passing through figures such as Ignacio Ellacuría and Estanislao Zuleta, all the concepts and authors worked on in these texts emanate a critical look at individualistic perspectives on life, which seek to give it meaning from selfish enjoyment and isolation. Thus, each article challenges us to find the best way to inhabit the world with others and then ask ourselves about the meaning of our lives.
