Abstract
The microgrids of commercial buildings will play an important role for a smart city, having electric vehicle (EV) charging activities can cause performance degradations and overloads in the distribution system. It is proposed to minimize the costs in the electrical energy consumption of a commercial type building when electric vehicle charging is performed, it will be done by installing photovoltaic panels for which the study will take the hours of operation of the building meeting the need of the demand, for the optimization process will be done by means of a dispatch by resource allocation. A comprehensive result obtained from the simulation tests showed that the proposed strategy has satisfactory results and high efficiency.
