Abstract
This article reflects on the cycle of protest and social mobilization in Ecuador, Chile and Colombia based on the relationship between bodily performance and digital mediation, which configured a convergent activism that gestated a repertoire of activist communication in a "body-technopolitical" key. From a dynamic driven from the ethos of convergence and participatory culture, social outbursts were insurrections of cyborg bodies with occupation of physical, digital and media space that can be read from the "technopolitics" (Reguillo, 2017; Rovira, 2017; Rovira Sanch, 2019; Toret, 2015), in deployment of a "transmedia mobilization" (Costanza-Chock, 2013) agenciados in a "hybrid media activism" (Treré, 2020). This research is based on the experiences of the women's march of October 12, 2019, in Quito; the performance "Un violador en tu camino" performed by the LasTesis collective on November 25, 2019, in Valparaíso; and the vogue dance performed by a group of sexual dissidence activists on April 28, 2021, in Bogotá. Based on the performative turn in the repertoires of collective action and activist communication, we analyze the complex relationships between the corporal, the analog, the media and the digital that configured a transmedia technopolitical performance dynamized from multiple actors, media andtechnological platforms, with diverse spatial and temporalities. This political-communicational scenario facilitated the convening and interconnection of a heterogeneity of actors detonated thanks to the articulating power of the performative actions generated by the indigenous, feminist and GLBTIQ+ movements, which resulted in an intersectional agenda: anti-capitalist, anti-colonialist and anti-patriarchal.
