Abstract
Current working conditions demand greater emphasis on the study of psychosocial occupational risks. This research evaluates these risks based on a sample of 559 teachers and administrative staff of a private Ecuadorian university, with the objective of investigating the specificities of psychosocial risk factors in relation to sociodemographic and sociolabor variables, in order to propose a psychosocial risk profile. The instrument used was F-PSICO 3.1 and subsequently, through logistic regressions, the effect of these variables was analyzed to identify possible risk or protective factors. The findings show that unfavorable exposure to psychosocial risk factors increases in personnel with certain characteristics such as: being a full-time teacher, being under 35 years of age, having less than 5 years of seniority in the institution and being a woman. In conclusion, at least 25% of the personnel perceive some of the psychosocial factors evaluated as unfavorable.
