Abstract
The study investigates the impact of integrative projects and the use of technology in the training of Education students at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Guayaquil campus. Using a qualitative approach and mixed methods, the research combined a literature review with semi-structured interviews involving 15 students and 4 teachers. Keywords included interdisciplinarity, educational technology, collaborative learning, and STEAM. Results showed that 80% of students reported positive experiences, highlighting improvements in collaborative skills and professional preparation. Additionally, 87% considered technology a facilitator of learning. Teachers observed significant development in students' critical and creative skills, although some initial challenges with new technologies were identified. The study concludes that interdisciplinary projects and the integration of technology have a positive impact on student training by enhancing critical, creative, and collaborative competencies. Further technological training and strategies to improve group dynamics are recommended.
