Abstract
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects the attention span, impulse regulation and motor behavior of children, negatively impacting their social and educational development. This work presents the design and development of an interactive arcade console aimed at children with ADHD, with the objective of fostering cognitive, motor and emotional skills through a playful and structured environment. The console includes an ergonomic controller equipped with arcade buttons and joystick, connected to an ESP32 microcontroller. The system provides a personalized experience through progressive levels of difficulty, immediate feedback and multisensory stimuli that maintain attention and reinforce positive behaviors. The design principles, technical implementation, and potential benefits of the device for children with ADHD are detailed. This approach combines technology and play as therapeutic tools, providing an accessible and innovative solution to the management of the disorder.
