Abstract
The present research defines the implementation of an electric corridor on the Cuenca-Loja route, which is validated through the application of an electric vehicle model, specifically the Kia Soul EV, representing the existing electric vehicles in the cities mentioned below along the route. The range values are presented when it reaches minimum values close to 20 percent. Therefore, it has been decided to define charging stations near resting points, creating intermediate points for both the outbound and return trips. The defined points ensure that any type of electric vehicle can reach its destination on the route, which translates into a favorable transition to electric vehicles at an earlier stage than anticipated by research centersin this field.
