Abstract
Procrastination is defined in the literature as the action of deliberately delaying, delaying or postponing responsibilities, frequently due to failures in self-regulation of behavior. In the university environment, this concept has acquired explanatory relevance around problems such as low academic performance and dropping out of studies, being linked to aspects such as the lack of intrinsic motivation.
