Abstract

In the current context, Salesian educational institutions face the challenge of integrating prevention, educational technologies and interculturality to improve the quality of education and the integral development of students. Preventiveness, based on the pedagogy of St. John Bosco, focuses on preventing problems before they occur, creating a positive and welcoming educational environment. Educational technologies, aligned with this philosophy, can enhance student learning and well-being. Interculturality is fundamental to forming global citizens capable of interacting in a multicultural world. A systematic review of the literature in databases such as Web of Science and Scopus shows the variability of academic publications on these topics in Salesian institutions. Universities such as Católica Silva Henríquez and Politécnica Salesiana stand out in academic production on interculturality and educational technologies, respectively. However, there is a disparity in academic production that suggests the need for greater inter-institutional collaboration and strengthening of resources.
