Abstract
This research analyzes the systematic linking games digital literacy and media literacy. It has been examined 43 academic publications related to game literacy submitted between 2004 and 2016 according to criteria sorted by school level, theoretical approach and research design. The results demonstrate the predominance of primary education based on the impact of the game as an educational agent in the acquisition of cognitive skills of the students. Specifically, the results show the impact of the game as an educational agent in primary education being based on the acquisition of cognitive skills of students. Specifically, game instruction in digital literacy is reflected in training on access, information display and operation of systems interaction, whereas media literacy involves skills beyond instrumentalas spatial intelligence, narrative and the creative process. Ultimately it is intended to convey the importance of education in games in on educational innovation within the classroom.
