Abstract
This collective text contains eight chapters with different perspectives on technological innovation in education; makes some terminological clarifications about the theme and its different manifestations in today's society; reflects on digital education and its impact on innovation; analyzes connected collective thought; presents guidelines for the development of digital competence in the teaching-learning of the different areas of knowledge and establishes clues about the use of technological tools in the education of the network society.
