This article discusses the optimal allocation of resources from radio channels available on cellular networks for the transmission of data from smart electricity meters to information management systems. The proposed model identifies and accounts for electric sector subscribers in a geographic area; through the kmeans clustering algorithm, cellular base radios are located, the same ones that provide communications to devices within their coverage radius. The communication channels available for data transmission are optimized using Greedy's algorithm, which regulates the time in which intelligent meters must send their data through disused communication channels.
