Abstract
The health emergency declared by the national government due to the arrival of COVID-19 in Ecuador and the alarming increase in the number of cases took by surprise the educational policy that has followed a reactive chain in the search for temporary solutions to the urgency of responding to the education of about 4,400,000 students. The Coalition for the Right to Education, with the support of the GIEI of the UPS, created a timeline of these first eight weeks (February 29 to April 24, 2020) in order to record the path of the education policy and identify some key aspects. and identify some key aspects.
