Abstract
Quichua shares with other indigenous languages a longhistory of linguistic racialization that starts in the colonial period and thatIt is maintained throughout the Republic. The objective of this article is to giveaccount of the way in which, through YouTube, indigenous youthmake their language visible and auditive. From the ethnographic observation of200 music videos that contain at least part of the lyrics inQuichua, and the comments that accompany them, the assessmentabout music, singers and language. All of this accounts for a process. Informal educational development of linguistic sensitivity carried out by thesevideos together with their communicational prosumers.
