Abstract
This article presents the system of equations used to describe the physical model of a camera for artificial drying of cocoa. The pattern corresponds to a rotating cylindrical dryer in cocurrent and is considered drying camera only. The equations of conservation of mass and energy with some correlations obtained by means of experimental tests have been implemented in a component assembly EcosimPro platform. Finally, presents an analysis of the mass curves, humidity and temperature obtained after performing a simulation during 10 hours of system operation.
