Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the financial situation of SME companies in the mining and quarrying sector in Ecuador in times of pandemic, through the calculation of nine financial ratios using figures from the statement of financial position and income statement from 2018 to 2022. Therefore, for the fulfillment of the aforementioned objective, a methodology based on basic research was carried out, with a quantitative approach and descriptive scope of a non-experimental design, data from secondary sources, panel were used.
