Abstract
Education management faces complex challenges arising from structural, technological, epistemological, and sociocultural transformations. Its proper implementation allows for the coherent, efficient, and ethical planning, organization, execution, and evaluation of institutional processes. This book critically analyzes the practices, foundations, and projections of Ecuadorian university education management, with an emphasis on its ethical, pedagogical, technological, and disciplinary dimensions. Management in university education should be understood as an articulated system of strategic decisions that promote the continuous improvement of institutional quality and its commitment to society. Efficient and ethical management transforms rigid structures into collaborative knowledge networks and enables participatory governance that is sensitive to changes in the environment.
