Abstract

This paper aims to reflect on the proposal of Active Learning Methodologies, based on socio-constructivism. This implementation proposes a turn in the methodological process of teaching, therefore, the change towards a much friendlier school, which proposes a formative approach to solving problems of everyday life. Although it is true that this proposal is not new, however, under the situation of confinement and the imposition of virtual education, its application in the teaching-learning process is crucial. In this manuscript it was necessary to contextualize the Ecuadorian educational reality through the time of pandemic and confinement in homes, since this situation demanded strategic changes in the educational field. Thus, it is intended to propose actions of methodological transformation while the educational process remains standardized in virtuality and later in the same way, because at the time of the collation of information, it was necessary to prioritize those data of relevance that appear constantly, ranging from the state of educational processes at the state school level to the university both public and private. The conclusion was that those who are in charge of the educational management of the various private and public educational centers should opt for more user-friendly methodological proposals.
