Mejoras en la Gestión Empresarial con Apoyo de Tecnología Blockchain

The present work presents a summary of the theoretical foundations related to blockchain technology as well as its application within business management as a supporting tool. Given the increasing penetration of this technology in the digital world and its progressive adoption by important firms in various organizational processes, studying this topic is very interesting. Additionally, this work specifically describes the operation of blockchain technology and exemplifies its application in the business environment. Some processes compatible with blockchain to improve business management are also shown. Furthermore, a set of useful guidelines that a company could consider before and during the adoption of blockchain technology in any of its processes is proposed. Finally, some cases of important companies that have implemented blockchain technology in vital business processes such as the supply chain are exposed. For the development of this work, the theoretical foundations have been compiled from current sources, and a didactic drafting of the operation of blockchain technology has also been carried out so that the reader does not require deep computer or mathematical knowledge to understand this article. It is concluded that blockchain technology is a disruptive technology with a wide variety of applications, including support for business management, especially in processes that require transparency and contain relevant information.
