Abstract

In Ecuador, confinement was decreed as a mandatory measure to face the pandemic caused by SARS-COV-2, following the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO, 2020). The ministry of Public Health determines the State of Sanitary Emergency, on the 11th of March 2020 and the President of the Republic declares a state of exception by public calamity. On March 16, the Ministry of Education (MINEDU) confirms the suspension of activities and announces the Educational Plan COVID-19, which aims to provide teachers and families with the tools pedagogical-methodological, psycho-emotional and psychosocial, to sustain the educational process and allow the guarantee of the right to education at all levels of initial education, general basic and baccalaureate. At the beginning of the first phase of the Let's Learn Together Plan, ICT took a leading place because the development of of online classes, the educational centers were made available tools for the development of synchronous classes and a repository with more of 840 digital resources (MINEDU, 2020d).
