Abstract

Currently, the training of professionals is committed to reshaping their social role given the influence of neoliberalism, globalization, nihilism and the vertiginous scientific-technological development that conditions the anthropological bases of humanistic training. This training is important since it is distinguished by its focus on the human being and its interest in the development of a complete and harmonious personality. However, there is a certain displacement of academic training —oriented towards knowledge as a criterion of professional efficiency— towards humanistic training, based on the development of the professional as a human being (Horruitiner, 2009).
