Abstract

The development of this work focuses on the MSMEs of Guayas and the difficulties they face when they do not get the financing required to meet their investment needs, so it seeks to demonstrate that there are other options with better conditions in terms of profitability and rates, known as non-traditional financing instruments, which can be accessed in the stock market. Traditionally it is known that MSMEs choose to finance their investments with their own resources and in some cases decide to request bank loans, however, some companies do not meet the requirements that financial institutions demand to grant credit, causing difficulties when making investment decisions in the company. The non-traditional financing instruments that can be accessed in the stock market are: shares, debentures, securitizations. The indicated mechanisms are operative in the negotiations of the Guayaquil Stock Exchange, facilitating the access of MSMEs to fresh resources from investors, who approach the Stock Exchange in search of investment products. investment products.
