Abstract

Jesus began his apostolate through the mission entrusted by God and along the way he gathered followers, people who, convinced that he was the prophet, followed him, they were captivated by the deep conviction of faith and love that he professed to the Father. Once gathered with all his disciples, people who followed him, he decided to choose twelve apostles who were: Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James, Simon, Judas Thaddeus and Judas Iscariot, with the purpose of being sent to preach the word of God.
