Abstract

The accelerated evolution of information and communication technologies (ICT) has profoundly transformed various aspects of contemporary society, including education (Torres-Toukoumidis and De Santis, 2020). In this context, the proposal of The Corresponsalesians arises, an innovative initiative designed to adapt and enrich the formative processes within the Salesian educational environment. This proposal is based on the need to integrate technological tools and advanced communication practices to promote a more dynamic, inclusive and participatory education, aligned with the values and principles of the Preventive System of Don Bosco. Conventional educational practices tend to be unidirectional and teacher-centered, which can limit students' ability to develop crucial communicational and technological competencies in today's world (Torres-Toukoumidis et al., 2021). This situation generated the possibility of proceeding with an initiative to dynamize the adoption of a transmedia approach in education, allowing students not only to consume content, but also to create and disseminate their own content across multiple platforms.
