Abstract
Life Cycle Assessment is a widely used methodology to evaluate the environmental and social impacts associated with a complete production cycle, in a "Cradle to Grave" or new "Cradle to Cradle" approach, which also takes into account the recycling of products and by-products, attempting to take into account each of the components of these impacts, or at least almost all of them. In particular, this literature review considers that agro-production chains have specific components and considerations that must be taken into account in the life cycle assessment process. These considerations have been discussed in the text and some calculation considerations have been cited.
