With a youthful spirit and in the third person, the Afro-Ecuadorian women leaders featured in this text describe themselves, outlining their strengths and weaknesses, highlighting what they have learned to overcome, and, with resilience and courage, demonstrating how they have taught others to respect their culture and values. Their work and commitment show that a world of opportunities exists for those who seek them, despite the barriers of inequality they face in a society where sexism and racism remain structural problems. This book describes the skills developed by the authors throughout their learning in the STEAM project, as well as their mastery of various technologies that have enabled them to excel in their leadership activities aimed at social transformation. orientadas a la transformación social.
