Las Competencias Holísticas Relacionadas al Entorno Empresarial y Académico desde la Visión Salesiana

The present study addresses the relevance of leadership, teamwork, problem solving and communication competences, established from the conceptual framework of the “Salesian Pastoral Educational Project, and its application in the Ecuadorian business environment. Thus, a questionnaire was implemented to a representative sample of 90 businessmen, validated through the structural equation technique. The results highlight that communication and problem solving emerge as the competences of mayor influence in the business development. It is emphasized that effective communication supports the achievement of business objectives, while problem solving enhances coexistence both on a personal level and in the work environment. In light of these findings, to evaluate its validity; The questionnaire can be applied to diverse cultural contexts for future research.
