Abstract

In this publication we share a series of informative notes, some of scientific character, others focused on economic, legal, political, social, ecological aspects why not only Ecuador but other countries in the world should be a GMO-free country. We have also included some notes on the struggles carried out by the populations, the ordinary people who do not want more GMOs, either because they have already lived the experience of living in the middle of soybean or GM corn plantations, because they have been fumigated, because their children or neighbors are sick, or because their native corn has been contaminated.
