Abstract

The research analyzed the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on Ecuadorian SMEs in the manufacturing sector, using a quantitative and longitudinal approach. According to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, most firms in the region, including those analyzed in Ecuador, experienced severe financial consequences due to the pandemic. The methodology employed focused on standardized techniques, with emphasis on financial analysis based on financial ratios.
