Abstract

Evaluation is a cooperative process that generates common learning. this requires a dialogic environment that promotes exchange, negotiation and comparison. In this sense, several shared values are fostered that project the management of evaluation towards a liberating change. The people who participate in the evaluation experience it as a formative and transformative process that provides them with tools for autonomous and responsible action that allows the continuous improvement of their competencies, services offered, activities or projects they are part of. This implies focusing on what people have assimilated and how this learning allows them to value what they have done; comparing, negotiating and dialoguing with the values of others with whom they participated in the process. Thus, the evaluation focuses on how to learn and not on what to learn.
