Abstract
The research explores the role of the Eucharist as an educommunication tool to educate in the Gospel; focusing the Catholic sacrament on promoting love for Jesus Christ and peace in times of social and spiritual crisis. A descriptive, exploratory, and explanatory qualitative approach was applied to the documentary analysis and investigation of religious texts, official documents of the Church, and the bibliographic review to listen to key concepts that examined the topic while interpreting results. The tools used were participant observation, structured interviews, and an Internet survey of 120 people to know the perceptions and sensations experienced by parishioners participating in the Holy Mass. It is shown that the Eucharist acts as a meeting point, promoting introspection in times of conflict and contributing to a culture of peace, promoting values of solidarity, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
