Abstract

The influence of technology in the life of the human being has given obliged the educational system to adapt its curricular models from labor supply and demand, giving greater importanceto those disciplines that accumulate economic capital and seem ensure the progress of a given nation. This way, the presence of philosophy in current education is qualified as inoperative and/or as a filler discipline; nevertheless, the direct incidence of philosophy in education through the centuries has come to act indirectly in the formation of the human being.
