Abstract
This research is framed within the development of theeducommunicative podcast "La Cuca", which focuses onComprehensive Sexual Education (ESI) aimed at youngpeople and adolescents in the Metropolitan District of Quito. The work follows the line of educommunication that is basedon the contributions of Paulo Freire regarding emancipatoryeducation and the Participatory Action Research (PAR)method of Orlando Fals-Borda, both emblematicrepresentatives of the perspective of the Latin AmericanCritical School, which promulgated the role of socialtransformer of education and communication. The podcastpresents a series of 12 episodes and compiles the voices of10 specialists in the field, based on the educational needs of70 adolescents and young people who participated in thebaseline survey process for the development of the podcast.
