Abstract
In Andean territories, according to the Sumak Kawsay, there are specific forms of planning relating humans to biophysical and spiritual beings. The research analyzed the incorporation of the Andean worldview in the wise upbringing of water, harmonizing the dimensions of the Chakana. Irrigators from the CODEMIA-CPM organization were studied, carrying out 8 workshops with 80 leaders, 5 focus groups and participatory observations. The relationship of 4 dimensions of the Chakana and their articulation in community irrigation management planning was identified. To harmonize the territory, a reflection is carried out on who we were, who we are, who we want to be and how we can be, directing policies, programs and projects that contribute to the fulfillment of the organi zation’s dream. Andean communities, from their cosmovision, can carry out planning considering the family, community, chakra and geo-biodiversity dimensions, incorporating local principles and values that maintain their identity in irrigated territories.
