Abstract
This research focuses on unraveling the concept of politics. exposed by the official website of the General Secretariat of Communication of the Presidency of Ecuador, based on the ideological discourses of the President Guillermo Lasso. Through the implementation of the ideological discourse analysis methodology, a comprehensive examination will be carried out. of five bulletins published between 2021 and 2022 by the government administration. These documents, intrinsically linked to the theme of democracy, will provide a framework for classifying and discerning various manifestations of the country's political system. On the other hand, the investigation pays special attention to how President Lasso's political ideologies.
