Abstract

Objective: To analyze the scientific production related to the knowledge, attitudes and practices on dental health of parents in relation to COVID-19.Methods: A bibliometric analysis was carried out in the scien-tific database of Web of Science. Results: Six documents published in high impact journals(Q1, Q2, Q3) were analyzed, identifying the countries, journals, institutions with the highest production, collaboration indexes and key word co-occurrences. Conclusion: The scarce production registered in Web of Sci-ence on the subject of the study promotes opportunities for fu-ture research adapted to the context of different countries and cultures. In addition, the documents establish that most parents were unaware of the transmission by close contact with asymp-tomatic patients and the risk during dental practices, accepting practices of self-medication of prescribed medicines, attitudes that influenced the decision of whether or not to take their chil-dren for dental consultation.
