Abstract
The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as support tools in education focused on inclusion in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), has had significant advances (Alcivar et. al, 2022), so new studies are currently proposed focused on treatment and recovery as the case of ASD itself (Fitzgerald and Ratcliffe, 2020). This research proposes an examination of the correlation between serious games and user experience design (UX) performance, in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), over the last three years (2020-2022) in the MIDI-AM 2.0 Research Project at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral. The results demonstrate that a correct execution of the UX promotes significant advances, going from being experimental tools to sophisticated educational and clinical instruments, providing new panoramas as challenges and opportunities.
