Abstract
This research argues that with the arrival of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the teaching profession made its way through uncertainty, fear and the ravages of the pandemic to adapt classes to the online modality when many did not even know this modality of study, others lacked strategies to develop it and several did not have a clear methodology to advance, which shows that the role of the teacher and the organization of the institutions were challenging in the face of the new circumstances they had to face. The authors propose to analyze higher education in the new scenario; to explain the difficulties and opportunities from the point of view of teaching, collaborative work and autonomous work in teaching practice in the qualitative research methodology course taught online in the Psychology program during the confinement.
