Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

A systematic review was carried out in order to study the childhood history of men perpetrators of intimate partner violence (IPV) and the mental disorders in boys and men associated with this problem. Additionally, a review of the prevention and intervention strategies that can be used to deal with cases of child violence and for men with mental diagnoses who are also perpetrators of intimate partner violence was carried out. The information collected serves to raise awareness about the need for its incorporation into detection, prevention and intervention strategies aimed at the perpetration of intimate partner violence by men.
