Abstract
This text has the originality of giving voice to the protagonists, revealing the inner world of those who are challenged, at the same time, by a fidelity to their own identity and by appropriating the tools offered by one of the most complex institutions created by the West: the University. The study takes up the experience of the University Residence and puts on the table the enormous challenge of thinking about a more intercultural University and society. The voices of the Shuar, Achuar, Kichwa and Afro-Ecuadorian youth heard in the text are a strong invitation to look at the world from another perspective and are a call for greater creativity in thinking about the University.
