Abstract
In this paper, a critical review of the trajectory of the inclusion of interculturality in the regulations and curricular documents of compulsory general education in Ecuador in 1996, 2010 and 2016 is carried out. From which, we seek to understand the approach that defines interculturality in each of the documents mentioned. This review allows us to question the curricular relevance and the intentionality of the inclusion of interculturality in the curriculum, as well as the considerations that these documents foresee for its operationalization.
