Abstract
This article analyzes the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education, where educational innovation allows for the evaluation of degree work in an environment that embraces the research-based learning (RBL) approach. The proposal suggests the use of generative AI to personalize learning through automated tutoring that provides immediate feedback tailored to the individual needs of students. It warns that there will be challenges in incorporating policies that ensure ethical data handling and privacy. The RBL methodology will integrate real-world problem-solving into the degree program to strengthen the link between business, universities, and students. The application of ABI seeks to enable students to develop projects with significant social impact that promote critical skills and autonomy (self-learning). Tutor assignment tasks would be carried out with the integration of AI to ensure effective monitoring and quality and equity.
