Abstract
The CIAGEN Network, as part of the Salesian Institutions of Higher Education (IUS), presents the results of the participation of researchers from various countries and continents in the XI International Congress on Auditing and Management, with the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Economics and Business,” featuring a range of topics through conferences, panel discussions, and presentations. The topic was chosen considering that artificial intelligence (AI) has ceased to be a concept exclusive to science fiction and has become one of the most disruptive and revolutionary technologies of the 21st century. This book compiles research aimed at offering the reader an accessible and, above all, understandable view of key concepts, applications, and challenges of artificial intelligence in business, and how it is transforming the world around us, from task automation to the creation of systems that can learn and make decisions automatically. We invite you to explore a broad range of topics on this current and exciting subject with detailed explanations and practical examples, where we will delve into how this theory works, the social and ethical challenges it entails, and, most importantly, what the future holds in a world increasingly driven by AI.
